Site information
Privacy and local preferences.
A straightforward explanation of the features in this edition.
Recipe saves and checklists.
Saved recipes and ingredient checklist preferences use your browser’s local storage. They are not an account and do not sync between browsers or devices. You can remove them by clearing this site’s browser data.
Kitchen tool links.
The rice calculator and roll planner run in your browser. A shareable link puts the selected counts or ingredients in the page address. Anyone you choose to share that link with can read those values. Do not put personal or sensitive information in a plan link.
Loading the site.
Opening a page sends a request to the hosting and delivery services used by the site, including Vercel and Cloudflare. Those services process request information such as network address and browser headers to deliver and protect the site. Their own privacy information explains their processing.
External references.
Links to food-safety sources and other external resources take you to a different site. Its privacy practices apply there. This edition provides recipe and learning content without an account, comments, checkout, or newsletter sign-up.
